Guess Who's Coming Home??!!

I found out yesterday that MY DAD gets to come home!! Cancer can suck it!
My bro & sis & I are getting a banner & balloons ready for their arrival later this evening. They've been gone about 40 days. (But who's counting?)
They'll have a bit of a long journey as my dad can only travel in a car for about an hour at a time. Not sure why, but docs orders ya know.
Thanks everyone for your prayers & for all your encouraging comments & emails! My family & I continue to be touched by the random kindness of "strangers". THANK YOU!!!!!

So happy to hear that your dad is coming home. Cancer is a horrible thing. Mom had lung cancer.

I was hoping it was him as soon as I read your title on my blog feed! Yeah!! The hour restriction is probably a safeguard against blood clots. No worries at least he is on the way home!! :)

So happy for you. I just caught the news of your dad recently and I was praying for him to make it through all the hard things he had to deal with. So glad he did. My father had aggressive prostate cancer about 5 years ago. It was at a point if it hadn't be caught he would have died within the year. But he got treatment and so far so good. :-) So like you said, cancer can suck it! :-) Your dad looks like a tough cookie, he's going to continue to heal and get better in no time. :-)
