Summer Break: Day 17

I truly want to make every day of summer break something special for my girls. And by that, I don't mean carnival-style happiness & major extravaganzas. This summer I made it a goal to come up with one idea each day. Some of the projects are all day events. But most aren't. Some last only 15 minutes. Some things are outings & not crafty-related at all. And my girls have even started asking me in the morning, "What fun thing are we gonna do today mom?" That can be overwhelming to keep up with. But library books have helped me. And googling on the internet. And magazines. And friends!
You see, I don't have to come up with something fun EVERY day because, for instance, my girls are fishing right now with some friends. It's their FUN for the day. And I get the day off from having to come up with ideas.
I likey.

  3. ps - here's 150+ things to do this summer with your girls - all nicely written in a list - most free or just about!!!

  4. How much fun are you?! I can't wait til my babies are older and we can do fun summer stuff. Not that we can't now... but you know what I mean:) It looks like you guys have been having so much fun!

  5. Fun, fun, fun! But yikes -- you make me look like a summer-slacker mom! ;)

  6. I'm telling you, if I ever have children, I want to be a mom just like you! ^_^ So much fun for everyone, and the memories I wish I had.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. Every time you do, I do a little happy dance. For reals.
